    Is there any special techniques that can be used to optimize a wordpress blog on my server for SEO. One issue I see is no way to change the title tags on each page, where it seems to take the blog name for the home page.
    I have several hundred 600+ inbound links.
    I have pinged Technorati manually and used pingoat as well as pingomatic every time I add a new blog.
    There is plenty of content, about 30 articles.
    What else can I do? What else should I do to optimize my blog?

    Nikolas - give it time, and keep writing valuable content. From the little insight I can gather from your question, you can write clearly. This is the best thing you can do for your blog. Wordpress is good software so let it take care of the rest. One bit of advice is to limit the number of outbound links to only the most appropriate outside sites. If you have too many, your site may appear to be a link farm.

    Remember, it takes some time for search engine crawlers to fully index your site.

    Well I havnt used any of these tools for my blog and it was listed in Google in under 1 day. And the Pagerank seems to be doing nicely too.

    I guess if you have good unique content you dont have to worry about all these tools

    I think that off-site optimisation has greater power these days than on-site. Sure - you have to put quality keywords on your page, but all that clean code, headings etc. don’t have so much influence on search engine rankings. Anyway I try to keep my code clean and tidy but I found out that it doesn’t help with search engine rankings… Well that may be only my opinion…but I stick to it.

    TrainStorm have developed a fresh new web-based mutual SEO tool that we think is a novel idea.
