Fresh Freebies: Typeface, Pirates and Circular Icons

Free stuff always comes in handy. We are regularly hunting for free high-quality icons, fonts, wallpapers, plugins and scripts and present them to you, so you don’t need to search for them. As long as we find something beautiful, interesting or useful, we let you know in our posts. And now it’s time for some sweet freebies for designer’s toolbox.

Below you’ll find an excellent free font and some recently released icon sets. They all are released for free; however, please take a look at license agreements before using them in commercial applications.

What about some nerd’s furniture for true pixel ninjas? For instance, Pixelcouch? Royal College of Art graduate (UK) Cristian Zuzunaga has devised a fabric based on a ‘pixel’ concept, which is being produced by Danish manufacturer Kvadrat and sold through Moroso. The price is unknown yet. [via]

Nope, it’s not free, but it’s really amazing. Saitek’s new Cyborg keyboard is probably the most nerdy keyboard ever designed. It could have come straight off Star Trek’s Starship Enterprise.

Wow! that keyboard reminds me of the painstaking effort taken at the end of SW:Revenge of the Sith so it would ’seamlessly’ tie into episode IV… gotta love the effort!

    Keep up the smashing work!

    ;)

Can someone please advise the license requirements for using the pirate icons – there is no license agreement in the .zip file?
