One can say that a good architecture needs great support, the same concept can be applied to web design in the sense that a good blog could do without the use of typography, but an astounding one could use the creative support.

Wow…I love this blof/site. I’m an old-school typsetter from New York City where I used to set on a Typositor as well as paste letters together for all the major ad agencies. Typography is a true passion of mine. Well done for setting this up!!!

i was suprised word boner wasnt on here
hes on tumblr, although hes not a resource for different fonts, he does a pretty good job at using all them to humor/muse everyone on tumblr.

Nice list on a great site. I always enjoy the articles here always pleasing to see something about type.
Thanks for including my RRS feed list to such a nice and broad audience. I have never counted the feeds myself. I am told they are more than 140 and that would mean over 160 by the end of next week when I have added the most recent feeds I have found.

There’s a typo error.
In the article’s 2nd paragraph it says:
Typography is much more then the “art of text”…It should sayTypography is much more than the “art of text”…

But “Some say that web design without typography is like an orange without its peel”? Who would ever say that? On the remote premise that someone would be tempted to use such a strange comparison, the analogy is not great – an orange without its peel is actually digestible – surely the object of typography is to make information digestible?
I’m afraid that bizarre opening sentence drew me into reading the next paragraph, and I immediately regretted it:
“Typography… is the evolution of creativity…” I beg your pardon?
And even more perplexing:
“One can say that a good architecture needs great support, the same concept can be applied to web design in the sense that a good blog could do without the use of typography, but an astounding one could use the creative support.”
Well I’m afraid that’s lost on me. For one thing, I’m wondering – how do you read a blog that doesn’t use typography?
