Project Icon Set For Free Download

Over the last months we’ve heard numerous complaints about the lack of quality in our freebie releases. We are aware that our readers have high expectations and we try to do our best to meet them in our posts. In this post and in the following one1 we release two beautiful professional icon sets that will hopefully meet your expectations and will come in handy in your projects.

Project Icon Set

This icon set, designed by Navdeep Raj2 and released for Smashing Magazine and its readers, contains 18 beautiful icons related to project management. The set includes the icons address card, bar graph, calendar, clock / time, conference device, contact, documents, draft, mail, marker, milestone, notes, portfolio, project plan / gant chart, search / find, sitemap / flowchart, todo and user / resource.

Screenshot3

The files are transparent PNGs, and vector Fireworks source files are included as well. As always, the set is completely free and may be used for any private or commercial project without any restrictions whatsoever.

Download the set for free!

We express sincere gratitude to Navdeep for his great work. Please let us know in the comments if this release meets your expectations. And if not, please let us know what we could improve in the upcoming releases!

“Seriously, start IP banning all the idiots that complain about the quality of the freebies.”

That has to be the STUPIDEST comment I’ve read in quite a while.

I had the same problem as flesh in comment #50. I appreciate this freebie, but it was provided in such a way that if you extract it in some XP machines, it becomes impossible to delete some of those files without some comprehensive method that I have yet to discover. If you have received many complaints about this and know a solution to be able to delete the files, please let me know about it.

Seems nice. But feels that after the first 6, the quality and idea of those icons starts to fade.

having the same issue in vista, the files are not unzipping fully and then leaving partial files and folders which will not delete. Does anyone have a solution to this? Or can someone provide a cleaned-up version of the file? not trying to complain about a freebie, but corrupt files is a bit lame

  40. 2041

First of all, thanks for the files, great work.

But if any other has any problem deleting the folders, try use your cmd promt and browse to the folder with the files and user the comand
    dir /x
this will show the file names as ex: CLOCK~1
    use this name when deleting:
    del CLOCK~1

    @Vitezomani

To delete the file, follow the instructions posted here:

    http://blog.dotsmart.net/2008/06/12/solved-cannot-read-from-the-source-file-or-disk/

*Hint: To get to the root of the directory in Command Prompt, type “cd..” (without the quotes) twice. You should then have “C:>” in a new line to begin the command.
