As always, here are some insights from the designer herself:
Paper Wall is the first wordpress theme released by Indeziner and it was created especially for Smashing Magazine. We created this theme as a challenge for us to see if it will be accepted for these great guys and in this way to receive a reputation.
We have created the Paper Wall theme as an alternative to any classic wordpress theme from before. The idea for the design was our daily working desk. As designers we always put things on paper. We draw elements and organize our activities mostly on a simple piece of paper. A designer’s desk is full of writing instruments and sketches and this is why we tried to bring the same layout online.
We wanted to provide you with the possibility to be able to simply activate this theme in WordPress and everything should work just fine. This is why we did not build a lot of features or personalized this theme too much in the idea to be simple to use. This is why it is very flexible and will work with all standard plugins that you may install in the future. All elements can be changed easily and you can personalize your theme as you want.
The header menu is updated automatically with pages you create from WordPress admin area and so is the footer. We used a plugin WP-PageNavi for the pagination. Using it is optional and replaces simple WordPress pagination. We were inspired by WebdesignerDepot and WebdesignerWall’s design style.

Theme is really beautiful and I would be using it on my site http://www.paheliyaan.com/
When I activate this theme in wordpress (I am using wordpress version 2.6.5) I get an error which says: “Fatal error: Unknown function: automatic_feed_links() in C:\xampp\htdocs\teabreaks\break2\blog\wp-content\themes\indezinerpaperwall\functions.php on line 7″
I commented this line but I see another error in header.php, it seems as if some file is missing. I would appreciate if you could help in fixing this error. Many Thanks!

@ilFrittomisto : did you add the code for the stats in the footer code? Because by changing the theme the code isn’t there anymore. Try to redo all the steps you took when you first installed the stats code.

@Rox: I use Wordpress Stats Plugin. But with this template it not run. I deactivate and activate many times, but don’t run.

It says in the plugin Faq that “your theme must have a call to at the very bottom right before the tag.” Check if that is present, and if it isn’t add it.

Hey guys, after I applied the theme to my blog, the search box doesn’t work anymore (can’t click or type anything in the search box), is anyone else having this trouble?
It seems like the wordpress default search box still works if I add it to the widget sidebar, but the one from the theme doesn’t work, can anybody help me with this problem?

everytime i add a picture to my posts (more than 5 paragraphs) the text flows round the picture, no matter if left or right, but after one paragraph the content stops for a while until the picture’s height is over and then continues under the picture. how come and how to fix that? see: http://stefanmaass.net/2009/07/10/japanisch-tutorial-ich-kann-sprechen/

This is the one of the coolest and wonderful theme I have ever seen and used. Many thanks to the creators.I just wish that changing the word INDEZINER with tag line (in logo) could be easy than editing it in photoshop, which seems bit difficult for a novice user.

I have the same problem with Stefan. I’m using this theme template for my church missions site. Every time when I add a picture to my posts, the text flows round the picture, no matter if left or right, but after one paragraph the content stops for a while until the picture’s height is over and then continues under the picture. Is anyone else having a problem downloading the PSD from http://media.smashingmagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/images/indeziner-paper-wall/indeziner-paper-wall-psd.zip ? Every time I get to 4.6Mb (out of 11Mb) and then the download dies… Is there an alternate link?

great theme, i use it for a school and changed something on the graphics in the header. looks realy nice :)but i would like to add a drop down menu for the exitisting site navigation in the header, because the homepage has a bigger structure. any solution or someone can help me, pls? :)
