  1. 1

the best theme which made me to comment for the first time.

  2. 52

Jorge, instalalo via FTP que anda bien.

Thanks for the Theme, is fantastic!

  3. 103

does this theme support language files?

I hope so, but I do not see this on the feature-list

come on schmaschers, accept that the world is not onelingual, there are some allophones around ;=(

  4. 154

Very nice theme, but the link to the documentation does not work and it seems that thumbnails never show, or there is something I didn’t get?

    Any help please?

  5. 205

A nice-looking new template, but commercially unuseable due to no ad placements. Needs to have at leaset a header banner and a widgetised sidebar each side to make it useful.

  6. 256

Apologies – found the sidebar . . but still need something in the header . . .

  7. 307

    nice theme…thanks :)

  8. 358

    Wow! Better than paid premiums

  9. 409

i really enjoyed the theme preview. The preview and design itselfs are awesome! But once installed i got the “Call to undefined function: add_theme_support()” error – I didnt find anything in the documentation.. anybody out there who has fixed this error?

    Regards Julius

You need to check on the right side of the post, when you are writing, there is a block there called “Featured Image”, you can set one there.

    Then it will show up.

  11. 511

Wow. Really cool. Agree that it is better than paid themes. Simple but can rock your blog. Got to grab this one. Much appreciated the share and thanks guys!

  12. 562

Unfortunately, I’ve had lots of issues with this theme that I did *not* have with my previous theme. There are 1) the lack of a back button on the front page, 2) the SexyBookmarks plugin doesn’t work (probably an issue with the plugin, so I won’t discount it), 3) the 404 page is hard to customize, and 4) going to another page of a category redirects to my About page. All in all, good but no.

  13. 613

    GREAT stuff !

    I’ve got some questions / remarks …

1- if you use the featured option, then the widget on the right hand side disappear, so the navigation is less easy (I’ve added the tag cloud, categories, … at the bottom of my page)

2- if you use the featured option (again), have anyone managed to only display two featured articles, but add a slider option to browse to all the featured articles? How difficult would it be?

  14. 664

so final yes or no question: are you allowed to remove the “theme brought to you by site 5″ footer or not ?

    • 715

For a free theme, why would you want to?

      • 766

well, I simply want to use the template to convey information on my site. I don’t use banners or links to any other company on my site – therefore I neither want a link to site5. In the readme file in the package it’s not clearly said whether you are allowed to modify the template, just to use it. So does that mean that I am allowed to remove the link or not ????

  15. 868

There is one issue in CSS. CSS #conent needs “images/bk_vertline.jpg”, but there is no image. I cheked live demo too.

Also there is wrong social icons image link in header. It’s ico_(name) but should be ico_social_(name).

  16. 919

tets means “first” in the Gibberish language

  17. 970

    wow!!! very fine this theme.

    Pagination doesn’t work

    • 1072

Heureka! I found a soultion for the pagination on the Site5-supportforum. The Since the supportforum is not accessible for noncustomers i’ll post it here:

In home.php, after the comment , comment out from
      “if(!query_posts(‘showposts=…. to the latest }
      until before
      “if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

And then, at the end of the page, after wp_reset_query();?>, add these lines:

What it does is: It ignores the number of posts to show that you have set in the themesettings. Instead login in you admin page, go to Settings -> reading and limit the numer of posts there to the amount you wish.
You might need to clear the cache. Thats it.

Great.. Code isn’t working on these comments.
I wanted to contact the guys who run this page via email to send them the solution but: They dont offer a email-adress. Eventhough they are required by law to have one, since they sit in germany.

So i put my solution on pastebin:

we’ve just released JournalCrunch for Drupal 6 and 7. It’s available through

At you can also check some other awesome free themes released through Smashing Magazine, which we’ve ported to Drupal as well.

  20. 1327

One of the best themes I’ve seen this year! WOW! I cannot believe it is FREE!

  21. 1378

Wonderfull. This theme for blogger with images taste. Good incoporating blog and pictures

  22. 1429

The theme is very wonderful, but it doesn’t support UTF-font, when I wrote the title on Vietnamese language, it was showed the incorrect characters.

  23. 1480

Nice theme – but not loving the copyright notice in the file: “All references and links to Site5 included in the Theme shall remain throughout any modifications made to the Theme.” Can’t use a theme that has their branding and links everywhere.

  24. 1531

I can’t get the images to work at all, changed permissions and still no joy? Can someone please help me urgently?

  25. 1582

Can anybody help me, I give tag “featured” to two of my posts and nothing show up, what am I doing wrong?

    • 1633

i had the same problem and solved it this way: Make sure the ‘slug’ to the ‘featured’ tag is acutally ‘featured¡. If it’s not, change it and it’ll work ;)

  26. 1684

I love the theme. but my host doesn’t like timthumb and I hate them for that. Anyway, I’ll just alter the part that uses timthumb script with WP’s image thumbnal support.

  27. 1735

    mantaaap!!! thks…:)

  28. 1786

I can’t get it to show more than 6 posts on the homepage, despite the fact that I’ve got it set for 10 to show up. Can someone help me with this?

  29. 1837

I had an issue installing. Here’s the error I got:

“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme install failed.”

    • 1888

This the th theme I’ve been searching for
Bit I have the same problem with Alaia
      .I get the following error

      Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
      Theme install failed.

    Hi everybodoy,

I need a bit of help. I have installed the theme, I love it. I got stuck trying to set up the Slides, I have created 2 of them (Slider Item) and setted up the theme to show them (Display slider on homepage = OK) . The problem is that the them is not showing the pictures, it seems to be loading for ever. Can anyone give me a hand?
