For the record, there are not enough Phone Icons out there and it’s always great, as a designer, to see people are still making them.
In my opinion, having a phone number on the front page of your site is as essential as everything else on that page. It adds that extra trust factor dontcha think? It gives the customer the impression that there’s a real person to call if there’s any problems.
ANYWAY, yes, phone icons are excellent things to have.
