Desktop Wallpaper Calendars: September 2013

We always try our best to challenge your artistic abilities and produce some interesting, beautiful and creative artwork. And as designers we usually turn to different sources of inspiration. As a matter of fact, we’ve discovered the best one—desktop wallpapers that are a little more distinctive than the usual crowd.

This creativity mission has been going on for over five years now, and we are very thankful to all the designers who have contributed and are still diligently contributing each month. This post features free desktop wallpapers created by artists across the globe for September 2013. Both versions with a calendar and without a calendar can be downloaded for free. It’s time to freshen up your wallpaper!

Please note that:

  • All images can be clicked on and lead to the preview of the wallpaper,
  • You can feature your work in our magazine by taking part in our Desktop Wallpaper Calendar series. We are regularly looking for creative designers and artists to be featured on Smashing Magazine. Are you one of them?

Curently I’m into Evacomics-I found about her through Smashing Magazine, as I found out about, for example, Vlad Gerasimov some time ago, also here. August was the month I subscribed to Smashing Magazine. I digged into the archives and found the site extremely useful.

All walls posted here are stunning, but I liked ‘Back-to-School apples’ one the most, even though it is not that good in quality. Keep such graphics coming.
BTW, what are the usage policies for the walls posted here?

Wow! I don’t think I can ever remember a collection where there’s been so many that I adore. I always have these on display in my classroom, rotating every half an hour and I’ve picked out 13 from this selection – far more than normal (it’s usually around 8 or 9). Fabulous work!

Hey we made a mistake with our ‘Back to the Grind’ calendar version of wallpapers. We accidentally created another day, now while that may be an awesome idea, the calendar fairy gave us a right telling off. So, sorry about that, you can download the corrected calendar version here…

Beautiful wallpapers, as usual. But in those “season” themes, I’d love to see some for who`s in the south hemisphere, cause it’s not summer turning into fall, but winter turning into spring here.
