This page collects all of the freebies that have been released by or through Smashing Magazine over the last few years. We regularly look for creative and talented designers, icon designers, graphic artists and developers. If you think you are one of them, we can offer you the broad coverage of our magazine, and we’ll pay you as well. Are you interested? Contact us!
This set contains eight icons available for both Mac and Windows users, in resolutions of 16×16 pixels, 24×24, 32×32, 48×48, 128×128, 256×256 and 512×512. The set was designed by Dirceu Veiga of Brazil especially for Smashing Magazine as a gift to its readers.
You can use the icons freely for private and commercial projects, blogs and websites. However, please take a close look at the license agreement: for example, it’s forbidden to sell the icons; and, in order to use them, you are asked to provide a backlink to the designer.

October 23rd, 2008 5:06 amI love the wordpress themes. Unfortunately, I’m a livejournal user, which is a bummer at times like these, beacuse I’ve seen loads of wordpress themes I’ve totally fallen in love with. Maybe some livejournal themes could be uploaded soon too? I’m sure millions of livejournal users will be thrilled!
