March 19th, 2010 11:59 pmNot really. You may think your website, once is part of the so called “G-SmashingNetwork”, this would bring you traffic. You couldn’t be more wrong :)
I asked once the team, if by doing so and, or posting the G-SM on my website, would eventually drive traffic on to my website, and the answer was, “no, but hey, you would do a great service to the community”.
There you go, you have your answer. It’s business here, not a charity house. You should all remember just that!
Cheers :)

June 13th, 2010 8:25 amIn my opinion, Smashing Magazine wouldn’t get more traffic than your site would get once it’s accepted. It’s simply because Smashing Mag is one of the first sites that a beginner is hearing about when starting to search tutorials . I strongly believe and admire that the guys here are looking to help both bloggers and people that are only looking to learn something.

July 5th, 2010 1:02 amMy office sucks for music. When my Boss is in we listen to great music but most of the time my colleague has the speakers and plays utter shite the whole time. Not only does he play shite but he plays the exact same shite every bloody day.
I’m a musical person, but I’ve never loved silence more than when my boss comes in and turns off “eye of the tiger” for the 19th time.
*puts in his own headphones and ignores everyone else in the office*
