As a matter of fact, we’ve discovered the best one — desktop wallpapers that are a little more distinctive than the usual crowd. This creativity mission has been going on for over two years now, and we are very thankful to all designers who have contributed and are still diligently contributing each month.

We continue to nourish you with a monthly spoon of inspiration. This post features 30 free desktop wallpapers created by artists across the globe for November 2011. Both versions with a calendar and without a calendar can be downloaded for free. It’s time to freshen up your wallpaper!

Please note that:

  1. 1

That`s great! “The Most Productive Month” is so good to me and it`s already on my laptop =)

  2. 2

As much as I love your monthly wallpapers… it would be great if they weren’t all based on the current Northern Hemisphere season. It’s the middle of summer in the Southern Hemisphere and Autumn themed wallpapers are just depressing for me…

    • 3

Then why don’t you create one for the Southern Hemisphere!

    • 6

I completely agree! It’s getting warmer and warmer where I live, so that almost all of the wallpapers are Autumn themed kind of depress me. And I also wish there were more 1366×768 sized wallpapers, there used to be much more on previous editions and now there’s only one. :(

  3. 7

Thanks for sharing my work November Turkey, congratulations to all the contesters, very nice roundup!

  4. 8

If you guys would have more usable content, rather than half a million ads that take two minutes to load, I’d pay more attention.

  5. 9

Nice, I have been waiting for these, however, its really annoying that so few are available in 1280X800. I know many people are using big widescreens but most standard 15.4″ laptop screens still look best in 1280×800

    • 10

Yes, please have more in 1280×800 !! The ones I like the best aren’t in that size. :(

    • 11

I agree that it’s annoying if you cannot find your resolution, but I think that as long as they have some versions with the same 16:10 aspect ratio it should be just fine. You’re not going to loose a lot of quality by scaling down a 1920×1200 wallpaper… ;-)
btw: I think this month’s selection is above average…really nice…

  6. 12

    Images aren’t loading!

  7. 13

Am not able to open any of the wallpapers. Is it just for me?

  8. 16

I keep getting 502 Proxy Errors on a few of the wallplapers (Design for Good, Coffee) … :(

  9. 17

Images not loading for me either.

  10. 18

    Some images load in Firefox.
    No images load in Chrome.
    Most images load in Safari.

Seem to be able to see all the images in Chrome.

  11. 19

images not loading for me either.

  12. 20

They load for me, and I’m going to use “The Most Productive Month”

  13. 21

These are AWESOME!!!! Great selection this month!

  14. 22

Not loading for me either =(

  15. 23 seems to be down. Looking forward to seeing these once it’s backed up.

  16. 24

I can’t get the images to load either…please fix it!

  17. 25

Yeah, I’m not getting images either.

  18. 26

    So nice!

  19. 27

i can’t load any either. server issues i suppose. i’ll check back later.

We are having some trouble with the server at the moment. We are very sorry for the inconvinience and we’re doing everything to fix it as soon as possible. We’d love it if you could come back and check again later! :-)

  20. 29

Bit disappointed not to see a Movember one this year. Hopefully I’ll have some spare time to make one later on this evening!

  21. 30

I look forward to changing my wallpaper each month on behalf of SM. Hope you get this sorted soon! :-)

  22. 31

I was going to choose the clearing in a foggy forest, but to me it was spoilt by the ‘clearing in a foggy forest’ text in the picture. I’ve instead chosen the Cool November one. I love Autumn and these are terrific photos.

  23. 32

Great selection again. It seems that this will be a really productive month (at least that’s the screensaver I’ll use for the next 30 days :)

  24. 33

had also some minor issues contacting some pics. After a few shots, it all worked without problems for me. So, try once or twice again and everything will turn out just fine.

  25. 34

I love the “November Rain” one :) Pretty colors and nice shapes! Good song, too…

  26. 35

    Love the wallpapers, as usual.

FYI – In the intro paragraph, you state:
“This post features 30 free desktop wallpapers created by artists across the globe for October 2011. ” Last I checked…we’re coming up on November 2011. :)

  27. 37

    Great collection on this month!
    Thanks guys!

  28. 38

Good month! Will be using The Hush for now, thanks :)

  29. 39

These are so cool! But why the northern hemisphere focus? You’re omitting half the world where it’s spring. Just because you guys are in Europe doesn’t mean that the rest of the world is. How about a more balanced editorial approach? I’d love to use these, but not when it’s sunny and blossoming outside. (Australia)

    • 40

Twistidd, we present the best wallpapers that we receive from our readers. We don’t have any bias towards northern hemisphere, it’s just we don’t get enough submissions for the southern hemisphere!

  30. 41

Wow, loads of good ones this month. Going to be tricky to pick just one!
