“I’m just a sucker for Halloween, candy, tiny witches and giant kittens. And you can’t tell me that October is not Halloween, because I’ve waited the whole year for this. I thought that I would make illustration central to this calendar so I started with the idea of a tiny witch who’s stolen a ton of candy along with her cat — who’s gotten herself in trouble and can’t unstick the bubble gum from her giant teeth. A typical Halloween scene, right?” — Designed by Kalashniköv from Spain.

Celebrating Durga Puja

“Durga Puja - the ceremonial worship of the mother goddess, is one of the most important festivals of India. Apart from being a religious festival for the Hindus, it is also an occasion for reunion and rejuvenation and a celebration of traditional culture and customs. While the rituals entail ten days of fast, feast and worship, the last four days - Saptami, Ashtami, Navami and Dashami - are celebrated with much gaiety and grandeur in India and abroad, especially in Bengal.” — Designed by Dipanjan Karmakar from India.

Durga Puja

“The Durga Puja is the biggest festival in Kolkata, West Bengal. It has become famous internationally owing to the sheer brilliance of the event. Colorful lights, beautiful people, highly decorated pandals and mouthwatering food are the highlights of this festival. Our creative team has been inspired by the spirit of the Bengalis.” — Designed by Saket Jajodia from India.

Nurture Nature

“In the midst of our rat races to the top, we forgot how to listen to and understand the rhythms of nature. Relax, take a deep breath and listen to it! And preserve our natural heritage - after all, another good planet is hard to find.” — Designed by Faheem Nistar from India.

Let Us Live And Let Live

“We are all created equal. Nature showers one and all with unbiased love and compassion. Each and every other creature has the right to exist just as we human beings. This October, we have come up with a design that reflects the importance of protecting nature and the creatures who live in there, contributing our part to maintain a balance in the natural ecosystem which is the home to many.” — Designed by Acodez IT Solutions from India.

Untouched Beauty

“Was touched by the amazing landscape during my short vacation between Lake Tahoe and Yosemite Park in California. While driving out there in the open, I was making frequent stops to capture the overwhelming beautiful landscape that was surrounding me. Photo is taken on my way to Yosemite Park from Lake Tahoe, this was a small abandoned lake that seemed literally untouched by any human hand.” — Designed by Ognen Trpeski from the United States.
