Aarron Walter was born after the dinosaurs but before the Web in a town not far from where Captain Kirk will be born in 200 years. His education includes a BFA degree in painting from the University of Iowa and a MFA graduate degree in painting from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. He lives in Athens, Georgia, where the music is as beautiful as the people. Aaron is the leader of the User Experience Design team at MailChimp. He has written two books, the latest of which is Designing for Emotion (2011). Before joining MailChimp in 2008, he spent eight years teaching interactive design courses at a few colleges around the US. His favorite color is black, and he dreams of becoming a barista when he grows up. As advice to readers, he claims that trying is always better than wondering What if?
