UX Designer, Web

Our Web Design Team is responsible for the design and frontend development of ableton.com and loop.ableton.com. We’re looking for a UX designer to help evolve these sites, enabling customers to get more from our products and their music making.

Based in our Berlin head office, you’ll be helping teams across Ableton to deliver everything from small website optimisations to large-scale redesigns.

The Web Design Team explores, implements and iterates in short cycles. We play an important role in shaping Ableton’s current and future online presence. We give feedback and share what we learn at every step, looking for ways to improve how we work and the end experiences we deliver.

Your role

• You’ll lead UX design activities within the Web Design Team, working on projects affecting all aspects of the user experience on ableton.com and loop.ableton.com
• You’ll drive explorations into who’s using ableton.com and loop.ableton.com, for what purposes and how well their needs are being met.
• You’ll facilitate regular discussions with teams across the organisation, helping to define the opportunities we want to pursue, the outcomes we want to achieve and the constraints we’re working within.
• You’ll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, creating, evaluating and iterating on experiences that fulfil customer and business needs.

Your profile

• You’ve played a lead role designing the user experience for consumer-facing websites and other applications.
• You have the visual and written skills to express insights, ideas and designs in a way that supports productive conversations with people across an organisation.
• You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team contributing throughout the planning, discovery and delivery phases of a project.
• You’re comfortable managing the needs and expectations of a varied group of business stakeholders, helping to inform and guide their decision-making.
• You are fluent in English.
• You can relocate to Berlin.
