As a User Experience (UX) Engineer at ThoughtSpot, you synthesize design and development. You take ThoughtSpot’s innovative product concepts and bring them to life in an effort to push the boundaries of UI design. ThoughtSpot aims to deliver an amazingly powerful and intuitive experience for its users with compelling design aesthetics and deep technical know-how.
You’ll partner with Designers and Developers to develop living breathing prototypes, build UI patterns in code, build and maintain our design system, and assist in the final implementation of new features. You’ll sweat the details to take design over the line by iterating complex interactions, animations, and pixel perfect UI components. You’ll collaborate with the Experience team to user-test new concepts, iterate constantly and assist the engineering with final implementation
- Deliver innovative, engaging prototypes using the latest in front-end technologies.
- Advise, collaborate, and synthesize feedback from UX designers, Product Managers, and Developers
- Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Assist front-end engineers with the final development
- Assist in the development of ThoughtSpot’s corporate website
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
- At least 1 year of developing clean, valid and compatible websites and applications
- Data visualization experience, D3, Highcharts
- Experience with development on mobile platforms
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills
