Person Of The Week — June 2, 2025 Hannah Smith

Hannah Smith is Director of Operations for Green Web Foundation, a non-profit on a mission to surface the environmental impact of software and hosting to work towards a fossil-free internet by 2030. She has previously worked as a freelance WordPress developer and for the Environment Agency, where she managed large business change projects. Hannah strongly believes in open-source, collaborative, and inclusive communities. After organizing the Bristol WordPress Group for a few years, she founded the Green Tech South West meetup in 2020 to bring together an emerging community of green-minded people and discuss approaches to using tech to tackle climate change.
