Person Of The Week — January 19, 2026 Laura Herman

Laura Herman is the Head of AI Research at Adobe and a Curator of Digital Art at the Victoria & Albert Museum. At Adobe, she leads a team of multi-disciplinary researchers that covers Generative AI for Creative Cloud. Laura has received her PhD from the University of Oxford’s Internet Institute and has previously held research positions at Intel, Harvard University, and Princeton University. Her research focuses on how emerging technologies impact artistic practices. Laura also serves as an advisor for the Inclusive AI Lab at Utrecht University, an organization that she co-founded.
