Collecting Data Without Compromising Privacy

People are increasingly uneasy about giving over data to companies, but it’s important for companies to be data-driven and so at least some of it needs collecting. Here Stuart will present some thoughts on how to gather data from your users in a way that doesn’t compromise their privacy but still supports you in making the decisions you need to make, by using the randomised response method and some simple statistical techniques so you get the answers you need and they keep the privacy they want.
